About Millhouse
This story is not just about the one and only pug named Millhouse, it’s also about the power of imagination and the joy that can be found in everyday living. This is told through my lens, my experiences and love. So, let’s embark on this journey and make memories with Millhouse and his family, and let the sun shine in our hearts. Because with a little bit of imagination and a whole lot of love, anything is possible.
The Creative Behind the Story
Patti Judd brings stories to life as an award-winning creative director and visual storyteller. Her diverse creative background includes her own design agency, co-founding the San Diego International Film Festival, executive producing Nickelodeon's "Deadtime Stories for Kids," and celebrating success at Sundance.
From design to film to children's literature, Patti weaves magic into every project she touches. In "Millhouse the Beach Life Pug," she invites readers to join a lovable pug and his family on heartwarming adventures in their charming beach town.
The inspiration for Millhouse came unexpectedly. While exploring digital illustration on her iPad, Patti found herself repeatedly drawing her friends' beloved pug, Millhouse. When he crossed over the rainbow bridge, she compiled these illustrations into a touching tribute—creating three special books, two for his family and one for herself. What began as a personal project transformed into something bigger when friends who saw the book began requesting their own copies, launching Patti's publishing journey.
This labor of love has earned recognition for its design excellence, receiving honors in the prestigious Graphis International Design Awards.
